A Message of Inclusivity from the President of Building Drops, Inc.

Currently, there is a pain engraved in the soul of our nation and in the hearts of millions. To be truly united, we must stand up for one another, and recognize the fear, hurt, and outrage provoked by the senseless killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and countless others as a consequence of our nation’s deep history of racism.

As a community of Licensed Professional Engineers, we are dedicated to the safety, health, and welfare of the public. Building Drops, Inc. is committed to maintaining and ensuring the highest standards of integrity, fairness, dignity, and respect for all.

These principles form the very foundation of our society; embodied in our Code of Ethics that includes impartial and fair treatment for all persons as a vital standard. Building Drops, Inc. remains profoundly dedicated to these principles.

We are compelled to advocate for what is right. Collectively, and in our future, we will be part of change. At present, my commitment is to ensure that the leadership of Building Drops, Inc. and the entire Building Drops’ family, consistently remains diligent to our responsibility to bring awareness to injustice. Initiating and participating in dialogue leads to understanding and understanding leads to change.

Building Drops, Inc. has recently donated $1,000.00 to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund as well as $500.00 to Global Empowerment Mission Inc, as an advocacy example of action in addition to our pledge conveyed in this message.
